Ewing wore his own-branded trainers in his season games and Ewing Athletics quickly became a highly desired footwear brand not only in the States, but in Europe and Asia as well.
Before the start of every basketball season, Ewing would introduce his latest game model. Many models were hugely successful such as the 33 HI, the Concept and the Eclipse, all of which he sported in his games.
As Ewing Athletics expanded, so did their product line. They moved from solely making basketball trainers to creating trainers for other sports such as running and hiking. Ewing athletics also started to sell clothing such as T-shirts and even leather jackets.
In 1996, Ewing wore the Empire model; this was the final model Ewing produced in the 90’s.
