Originally founded in 1995, Toy2r are one of the leading collectable vinyl toy brands on the planet. The Japanese, Chinese and other audiences in the Far East went crazy when the original product was released and since then, the brand has gone from strength to strength.
Collaborations with influential artists such as Frank Kozik, The Mad Barbarians and David Horvath have allowed the toy brand to develop further, and in 2002, the “Qee” (pronounced ‘key’) bear was introduced and caused hype amongst toy collectors worldwide. However, it wasn’t just enthusiasts caught up with the ever growing ‘toy trend’, soon graphic designers, art lovers and kids were all trying to create their own take on Qee, collecting whatever they could get their hands on.
….And so the Qee Bear story continues to grow, with the introduction of collectable tee’s now available in The Fashion Pharmacy! French brand Art-Toy has created a range of t-shirts that grab attention by using a frontal printed bear, but with a tongue-in-cheek, modern twist. Current sought after brands such as New Era, Apple and Casio G-Shock feature alongside Qee’s that give a nod to the past – SNES and Sony’s Walkman.
We all know that the current black/white graphic printed tee is still a strong on-gping trend, but the bright colours with a contrasting coloured bear give these tee’s a different, yet fresh look, especially for this summer! Think Kidrobot, Billionaire Boys Club and Stussy!
We are currently the only UK stockist of this already international brand, so grab your Qee t-shirts while we still have them!
